Overdose Awareness Event
Overdose prevention is a crucial part of the work that Southwest Community Health Center does for its community. In the honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, Southwest held an event to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths. SWCHC provided free HIV testing, NARCAN training, MAT education, free giveaways and refreshments.

In the midst of a $27 million redevelopment project in Bridgeport’s South End, Southwest Community Health Center is proud to welcome its newest health center located at 509 Park Avenue at the site of The Windward Apartments Complex. This brand new facility brings #healthcareforall to the heart of Bridgeport’s South End community while expanding upon the services previously offered at the former Marina Village location.
