Enhancing Health Services in the North End of Bridgeport

Southwest Community Health Center catered   together with staff, community partners and supporters to cut the ribbon and officially open the doors to the new Southwest Family Health Center at 762 Lindley Street in Bridgeport, CT. 

Formally known as the St. Vincent's Family Health Center, Southwest Community Health Center joined in partnership with St. Vincent's Medical Center and will now be operating this site under the Southwest umbrella, enhancing care services to more than 2,000 new/unduplicated patients. Along with Internal Medicine and Pediatric services, Southwest will now be able to integrate Behavioral Health and Medical care in addition to enhancing the OB/GYN care delivered in the Women's Health Department. Patients will also receive full access to all Dental services, WIC Benefits as well as an array of specialty care services at other Southwest locations. 

Southwest is pleased to have welcomed special congressional visits from United States Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, in addition to Congressman Jim Hies and Mayor of Bridgeport Joseph Ganim, who have supported the Community Health mission and understand its value to some of our most vulnerable populations in Bridgeport, CT.
