Southwest Community Health Center, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) organization. As a non-profit organization we are supported through patient revenues, the generous support of the community, grant dollars from the federal, state and local government, and from private and public foundations. All patient revenues are used to support health care delivery. We accept most health insurances including Medicaid, HUSKY, SAGA, Medicare and most private insurances.

Southwest Community Health Center, Inc. continually strives to improve the scope and quality of services offered to meet the unique needs of the Bridgeport communities we serve. In addition to the comprehensive range of primary medical, dental and behavioral health services described in the following pages, SWCHC provides community outreach, health education/disease prevention programs, and entitlement enrollment services. The Health Center’s physicians are Board Certified and have privileges at local hospitals, and provide after hours coverage to ensure continuity of care. Continuing its tradition of excellence, SWCHC earned full accreditation from the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (Joint Commission) for the third time in 2006.
